Olentangy Education Foundation President Lisa Moore joined the organization in the summer of 2013 and was elected President last September.
Lisa, her husband, Mike, and their two sons, Sullivan and Mac, have lived in the Olentangy district since July of 2003, when the district had about 6500 students. In her professional life, Lisa is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has over 25 years experience in sales and marketing. She currently serves businesses around Central Ohio as a Marketing Consultant.

What is your favorite part of volunteering with OEF?
My favorite part about volunteering and being a part of this organization is seeing the rewards our student population enjoys as a result of our work. We have a very passionate group of board members and volunteers that work to further our mission to enhance the educational experiences offered through our district. It’s nice to be a part of something larger than yourself, your family, your neighborhood and your school.
How would you describe your experience as an Olentangy parent?
It is a great community and we have loved every minute of it. Our entire family has grown friendships that will last a lifetime as a result of our time in Olentangy. And, our boys are earning (or earned) a top-notch education and developing important life skills to be responsible, respectful adults and the Olentangy School District has played a valuable role in that growth.
What do you want people to know about OEF?
OEF makes a difference! The dollars raised through our events, endowments, sponsorships and donations have provided innovative resources that are imagined and requested by teachers to enhance their classrooms. I often share things like “OEF dollars at work”, because that showcases the fruits of our labor. It’s rewarding to see and share those “wins”.
