PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Education Grant Program is to fund creative and innovative learning opportunities in the Olentangy Local School District (OLSD) that cannot be funded through school budgets, and support the district’s mission to “facilitate maximum learning for every student”. The projects should support areas of need identified in the district’s Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) and directly enhance learning opportunities for OLSD students.

ELIGIBILITY:

Any staff member in the OLSD, with the approval of the building’s principal or staff member’s supervisor, is eligible to apply for an Education Grant.

  • Directly impact OLSD students – a group, classroom(s), grade level(s), building(s) or district

  • Remain in the designated school building with the corresponding program unless the program moves to another OLSD building

  • Be approved by the staff member’s principal or supervisor

  • Have any proposed changes approved by OEF prior to the project’s implementation
